Looks like problems for Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his film Padmavati has no signs of end. The movie has already faced several threats from the Rajputs.

Now, it has happened again. A talented artist recently created a landscape rangoli of Deepika Padukone’s Padmavati look in Surat over the course of 48 hours ahead of Diwali 2017 celebrations.

However, the artist’s hard work went down the drain as the Padmavati rangoli was destroyed by barbaric protesters. An aspiring artist, Karan K shared pictures of the beautiful rangoli alongside the vandalised area and accused protestors of ruining his hard work of 48 hours.

“#padmavati Rangoli controversy! A crowd of 100 people cried JAY SRI RAM and rubbed out my48hrs’ intense work,” Karan K wrote on Twitter.

‘Padmavati’ is a movie that has been a magnet for troubles ever since it was announced. Recently, Jai Rajputana Sangh has demanded that they should be allowed to watch a special screening of Padmavati film otherwise they will burn the theatres.

Earlier, members of the Karni Sena had burnt posters of the film last month and demanded that it be pre-screened to Rajput and Hindu outfits.

In January this year, the sets of Padmavati in Jaipur were vandalized by members of the Karni Sena and its director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was allegedly manhandled.

The film is scheduled to release on December 1.
