After impressing us with the trailer, now the makers of Rani Mukherji starrer Hichki has released the first song from the film.

Titled, Oye Hichki the song encourages people to stop societal discrimination, in other words – Hichkis, such as a preference for fair skin, partiality towards people with disabilities, females not having the right to make certain choices among others.

Rani in this video highlights how each challenge needs to be taken head on and only then can we win over them.

The song is sung by Harshdeep Kaur and it is composed by Jasleen Royal.

Hichki will mark Rani Mukherji’s return to cinema after three years. She plays the role of Naina Mathur who has a nervous system disorder, Tourette Syndrome that forces an individual to make involuntary repetitive movements or sounds.

Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, Hichki is slated to release on March 23, 2018.
