After unveiling character posters of Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Devil Jiiva as K. Srikkanth and Saqib Saleem as Mohinder ‘Jimmy’ Amarnath, now Ranveer Singh introduces Jatin Sarna as cricketer Yashpal Sharma.

83 is based on India’s historic win against West Indies at the 1983 world cup and Ranveer will be seen playing former Indian skipper Kapil Dev.

The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, and Chirag Patil. Deepika Padukone will play cricket legend Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev in the film.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie is slated to hit the screens on 10 April 2020.
