After unveiling character posters of Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar and Devil Jiiva as K. Srikkanth, now Ranveer Singh have introduces Saqib Saleem as Mohinder ‘Jimmy’ Amarnath from the film.
Ranveer took to his Instagram and shares the first look poster of Saqib Saleem.

He captioned the poster as, “Courage of a Lion. Nerves of Steel. The Indomitable Comeback King of India. Presenting @saqibsaleem as MOHINDER ‘JIMMY’ AMARNATH (sic).”
83 is based on India’s historic win against West Indies at the 1983 world cup and Ranveer will be seen playing former Indian skipper Kapil Dev.

The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, and Chirag Patil. Deepika Padukone will play cricket legend Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev in the film.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie is slated to hit the screens on 10 April 2020.
