& Tv’s hit show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ counted as one of the most popular serial on Indian Television.Every character of the show entertain the audience with their acting skills. One of them is Ammaji.
Here, we are talking about actress Shoma Rathod who plays the role of Ammaji (Manmohan Tiwar’s mother) in serial “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai”. In the show, Ammaji is an overweight character that is often seen taunting his son, Manmohan Tiwari in a comic style and loves her daughter-in-law (Angoori) very much.
Speaking about his past Shoma said, “I have been through a bad phase in my personal life. I got married at the age of 23; I was too young at that moment. Initially, we both met through a social networking site and few months later got married in the presence of our family members. We stayed together for 10 years but there was something missing between us. We both were quite opposite in nature. Hence, instead of continuing the relationship, we decided to part ways. Better to be happy alone than instead of cribbing every day, isn’t it? And this bad phase took a toll on my health. I was depressed and because of it, I put on weight.”
No intention of losing weight…
Yes, I am over weight, but in reality, I take my weight as a blessing in disguise. My weight has been constant for a long time. I am big foodie too. In fact, I have no plan to lose my weight in the future too,” she smiles.
