Real-life TV couple Shakti Anand & Sai Deodhar fell in love on the sets of their Star Plus show ‘Saara Akaash’ and tied the knot in 2005. After marriage, the couple worked together in Sony TV’s ‘Ek Ladki Anjaani Si’.

And now, the much-in-love couple is all set to reunite onscreen after ten long years in Life OK’s ‘Savdhaan India’.

Talking about their stint together, Sai stated to a leading daily, “The last time we shot together was in 2007 after which there was no opportunity, except for a couple of ads and a film together. I have really been wanting to work with my husband since long.”

The couple shot the episode in Delhi and Sai added, “I have come for an outdoor shoot after about three-and-a-half years, since I was busy with Udaan for long and also because my daughter is too young. But thanks to my mom, I have managed this outdoor shoot.”
When Shakti was asked about working with his wife again, he said, “We got to spend quality time. The togetherness has refreshed our relationship.”

In the episode, the couple will be seen as husband and wife, but in an abusive relationship.

Sai concluded by saying, “Shakti’s is a completely dark character, a negative role. Our characters are in an abusive relationship and shooting for it felt very uncomfortable since we have not done anything like this on or off camera. Also, I don’t want our daughter to watch it.”
