Veteran actress Reema Lagoo, who appeared in Mahesh Bhatt’s show “Naamkarann” playing the role of Dayawanti Mehta, passed away last year after reportedly suffering from cardiac arrest.
Later, her character was replaced by actress Ragini Shah. Now, if latest reports are to be believed, the show will take a major leap after lovers Neil and Avni will part their ways.
According to reports of Spotboye, a new villain is all set to enter the show and she is none another than Reema Lagoo’s daughter Mrunmayee.

Yes, the late actress daughter has been approached by the makers to play a new antagonist in the show.
Mrunmayee is also an actor by profession and has done few Marathi films. She has also assisted Aamir Khan in his films like 3 Idiots and Talaash.
Mrunmayee has not officially given her nod, but if all goes well, the late actress will soon be seen in ‘Naamkarann’ as a new antagonist.
