Remember light-eyed beauty Mayoori Kango from the film ‘Papa Kahte Hain’? Well, most Gurgaonwallahs can say ‘Ghar Se Nikalte Hi, Kuch Door Chalte Hi, Raste Mein Hai Uska Ghar’ about her, as the former actress is now based in the Millennium City.
Mayuri Congo has long been missing from Bollywood. The last time she appeared in the 2009 film “Kurbaan”. Since then she has neither seen in any Bollywood party or function nor in any film event. Actually, Mayuri is leaving the movies and is now doing a job. She is currently the Managing Director in a company in Gurgaon.
Mayuri entered film industry in 1995 and started her career from movie “Naseem”. Mahesh Bhatt spotted Mayuri Kango in another movie and cast her in “Papa Kehte Hai” opposite Jugal Hansraj. Post this, she signed a few completely forgettable films.

She was later seen in films like “Betaabi” (1997), “Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet” (1999) and “Badal” (2000).
She moved to television appearing in serials “Dollar Bahu” (2001), “Kkusum” and “Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny” (2003) where she played the daughter of Karishma Kapoor.
Kango married an NRI named Aditya Dhillon on 28 December 2003, in Aurangabad and settles in New York thus taking a break from B-town.
