Year 2017 seems to have started on bad note for the telly town.

Acclaimed director, Waseem Sabir, who has directed popular TV shows like “Gangaa”, “Tamanna”, “Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera” and “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon…Ek Baar Phir?” is no more. He passed away on January 2, succumbing to brain injuries.

According to a reports, Waseem fell down at his house on January 1, and was badly injured. He was rushed to hospital immediately after that. He battled for life for some time but breathed his last on January 2.
His last rites will be performed once his brother flies down to Mumbai from Middle East, stated an entertainment portal.
This is definitely a huge loss to Television industry.
