Television actress Jaya Bhattacharya who is best known as Payal from ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ is facing a tough times of her life as the actress has lost her mother today.
As per news in an entertainment portal, “Jaya Bhattacharya lost her mother, early this morning.She had not been keeping well since November 2017. She was suffering from a heart problem, for which she was admitted to the hospital. The 79-year-old, spent her last few hours in the ICU where she was being monitored for an irregular ECG.”
The actor, who had been by her ailing mother’s side, sent out a text to her friends in the industry informing about her loss. Her text stated, “It is with profound grief I inform that my mother Mrs Gauri Bhattacharya….has left for her heavenly abode today. The cremation ceremony will take place at Dahanukar Wadi.Kandivali west..(M.G.Road).near Thakur International school.Time 9.30 pm….).”
Jaya has been working in the industry for close to two decades now and has been on many memorable shows like Kasamh Se, Pal Chhin, Kesar, Hatim to name a few. She was last seen in Thapki Pyaar Ki.
