Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor who was undergoing treatment for cancer in the US for almost a year is finally heading back to India.
Anupam, who is currently stationed in New York and occasionally joined the Kapoors for lunches and dinners, wrote a short note on the social networking site.
He tweeted, “Dearest #NeetuKapoor and @chintskap !! Here is wishing you a safe trip back to India after being in New York for almost a year. I have mixed feelings. I am happy & sad at the same time. I am going to miss you terribly. We had a great time together. Thank you. Love & prayers.”

Rishi Kapoor to finally return home
Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima also couldn’t contain her excitement. She took to her Insta story and shared a throwback picture of Rishi and Neetu and wrote, “They are coming home,”
Rishi Kapoor had flown to the US with Neetu in September last year after being diagnosed with cancer.
The actor’s children Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima keep visiting him from time to time. Ever since Kapoor has been in NYC for his medical treatment, film fraternity members are ensuring they meet him whenever they are in the city.
