The success of Bahubali film franchise has encouraged many filmmakers to make films on historical characters. After reports of a Rs 1000-crore Mahabharata film starring Mohanlal, a Ramayana film is reportedly in the works. Now it is heard that Riteish Deshmukh is also thinking of bringing a historical movie on Chhatrapati Shivaji’s life.
With the success of Baahubali, now he is determined to make this movie with Rs 250 crores of rupees. It is said that he will produce and portray the character of Sivaji in this movie.
