Nakuul Mehta

On the occasion of Tendulkar’s farewell test that was played three years ago, Nakuul has sent the legend a bat as his token of love & gratitude and now the Master of cricket read the message and sent me his ‘acknowledgement’. Nakuul Mehta recently got a bat signed by none other than the God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar.

By Sachin’s special gesture the ‘Ishqbaaz’ actor is truly over the moon.

Nakuul wrote an emotional post on his Insta account saying how this gift mattered the world to him. He expressed how his friends and he were in tears after watching Sachin Tendulkar play his last test (200th) at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

Nakuul shared a picture of the bats on Instagram and captioned it with an emotional message,

The entire stadium & pretty darn sure the whole of India reverberated with the chant of, ‘Sachin..Sachin…’ that day. Never before have I felt a surgre of emotion as strong for someone I’ve not known personally but in a way known my whole life. I don’t just remember all his special landmarks, I recall all major landmarks in my life vis a vis how he played that day. The stage was set for a befitting tribute & there wasn’t a chance in the world I’d give it a miss. Before we knew it, there were tears rolling down our faces. There is something very powerful & beautiful about collectively sharing an emotion. It’s hard to describe what each one of us at Wankhede that day felt. Although the absolutely silent long drive back to residence with two of my close friends & fellow GOD fanatics pretty much summed up our experience. It meant so much and yet it did not need words. It was his birthday yesterday & also a day when I received one of the best & most treasured gifts of my life. On the eve of his farewell test I sent him my token of love & gratitude. 3 years and a few months later the Master read the message and sent me his ‘acknowledgement’. Thank you to the good guys at ABP News for this invaluable gift. ❤ Vibha ji & team #SaasBahuAurSaazish #HappyBirthdaySachin #SachinTendulkar“.
