Saif and Kareena host family dinner on late Shashi Kapoor’s 80th birth anniversary!

Actor Shashi Kapoor, who has ruled Hindi cinema and won hearts of several people, is no longer in this world. The actor passes away on December 4, 2017 after a prolonged illness.

Recently, on March 18 it was his 80th birth anniversary and to celebrate the same, the entire Kapoor gang got together for dinner.

 Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan reportedly hosted a dinner to mark the special day, a photo from which has been doing the rounds on the Internet.

Going by the picture, besides Saifeena, Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor, aunt Rima Jain, cousins Armaan and Adar Jain, Shashi Kapoor’s son Kunal Kapoor and several others were present at the get-together.

Days after Shashi Kapoor passed away, his nephew Randhir Kapoor spoke to a leading tabloid and asserted why these family parties are essential. “My uncle (Shashi Kapoor) was a family man and always believed in celebrations. In fact, he had told us that we should not mourn his death and instead, celebrate his life. I think his kids are just doing that and are paying an ode to him. Like my father, Raj Kapoor said, ‘The show must go on’,” he told mid-day.

Shashi Kapoor died on December 4, 2017. The veteran was suffering from a kidney-related ailment.
