The actress has been admitted to Mumbai’s T B Hospital, Sewri for the past few days. But, the actress has no money for the treatment.

Now, Salman finally comes forward to help her. If reports are to be believed, the actor was in Pune for DaBangg tour over the weekend when he learnt about Pooja’s plight and immediately asked his team to arrange for funds and a care package. She received two bags of clothes and other gifts from Salman, along with the assurance that he would be footing all her medical bills henceforth.

Salman Khan, in a recent press conference, said that his NGO Being Human Foundation, has now reached out to former actress Pooja Dadwal for financial help for her medical treatment. He said, “I know. It’s really sad. She is not my co-star but she was Atul’s (Agnihotri) co-star. I just heard about this and we are trying to help as much as we can. And our team is already onto it. I did not know that she was going through this phase. I think she will be okay,” he told reporters.

Ravi was shooting for a film in a Hyderabad when he heard about the actress illness. According to reports, Ravi Kishan sent his colleague with money and fruits for the actress.

Earlier, Pooja told in an interview, “I learned 6 months ago that I had something as serious as TB. I tried to contact Salman Khan for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to offer some help. I have been admitted to this hospital for the last 15 days. I have been doing casino management in Goa for the last several years. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea.”

Following Pooja’s health, her husband and in-laws have abandoned her.
