Controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ is gearing up for its 11th season which will once again have commoners and celebrities as contestants.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who has so far hosted six seasons recently launched the latest season of the show on Tuesday evening.
The actor was seen in a jovial mood at the launch of the show. The show lunch took place at a housing complex on the suburban side of the city where Salman entered the stage with a gala performance of his hit songs.
The CEO of Colors channel Raj Nayak was also present there along with Deepak Dhar of Endemol.
At the launch, Salman was seen wearing a black satin shirt with powder blue cloured blazer, dark blue trousers and black shoes.

The movie star, who was present at the launch of the show here on Tuesday, told media: “Well, I want everyone to behave properly. I know it is not easy considering the situation where all the participants are coming from different background and mingling the first time; there are friendship, politics, people deals with the tricky situation. However, they should behave.”
Asked about if there is any rule in the game that he feels like changing, he said: “I think the first week of elimination is not right because it takes a little time to settle down and mingle with people. So, whoever gets eliminated on the first week, I think it is unfair.”
“I think many people come to the show for revamping their career and if they are fighting and misbehaving with people, industry professionals will not prefer to work with them,” he added.
The reality series, which has Padosis as theme this year, is planning to have an interesting mix of contestants.
Meanwhile, the list of speculated contestants is getting longer day by day. Earlier it was reported that YouTube sensation Dhinchak Pooja was also approached for the show. A few other names in the long list are Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Nia Sharma, Niti Taylor, Anuj Saxena, Pearl V Puri, Abrar Zahoor and Nikitin Dheer among others. It will be interesting to see who makes it to the controversial house.
The show will premiere on Colors TV on October 1.
