The 51-year-old-actor took to his Twitter and shared the first look of his upcoming movie and captioned the post, “Yeh Summer hoga bada Damdaar, Dekho motion poster of #HanumanDaDamdaar Aaj HanumanJayanti ke din. @hanuman_damdaar.”

Salman had dubbed for the film long back and as per director Ruchi Narain, the actor was a riot at the studios. He would add his comic bit to the narrative and crack up everyone.

According to TOI, Ruchi had approached Salman through his sister, Alvira. The actor simply loved the idea and was onboard to lend his voice for adult Hanuman. Ruchi told the daily, “The actor, who adores children, liked the idea propagating mythology in an entertaining way for mass consumption. He was also intrigued by the ‘da’ in the title and responded with an enthusiastic ‘sure’. And towards the year end, he turned up at the studio to dub the lines in his inimitable, damdaar style. He’s the kind of actor who once he gets the ball, runs with it and always scores. His improvisations had us in splits. He’d look at us and ask, ‘Zyada ho gaya kya?’ And we’d assure him he was just great. Sometimes, in between shots, he’d croon, ‘Main hoon Hanuman tera.’”

Clearly, Salman loved dubbing for Hanuman. He has shared a glimpse of it on his Twitter account right here. Don’t you dare miss that wink…it has Salman written all over it.

Scheduled to release on May 19, the film narrates the story of young Hanuman when he meets Lord Ram. It is the story of how he was oblivious of his strength, mettle and purpose in life at the time and found inspiration in Lord Ram.

Apart from Salman, the movie features voices of Javed Akhtar, Raveena Tandon, Vinay Pathak, Saurabh Shukla and Chunky Pandey.
