Two weeks after the deadly terrorist attack in Pulwama in Kashmir, Indian Air Force’s fighter jets crossed the Line of Control to destroy major terrorist camps near Balakot with bombs in the wee hours of Tuesday.
IAF sources revealed that 10 Air Force Mirage jets dropped 1000 kg bombs on terror camps across the LoC. The targets were terror camps and launch pads of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) among other terrorist groups, the source said.
In the meantime, several Bollywood personalities took to social media to laud the Indian Air Force and the surgical strike.

Now, reacting to the news Salman tweeted thanking the Indian Air Force. He wrote, “Respect @IAF_MCC Indian Air Force… Jai ho !!!”

The Indian government has said that air strikes were hugely successful as destroyed the key terrorist base of the Jaish-e-Mohammed.

India’s strike comes twelve days after the deadly Pulwama attack, in which over 40 CRPF jawans were killed by Jaish. Agency reports say the pre-dawn strike has caused over 200 casualties.
