The novel coronavirus outbreak, or COVID-19, has spread rapidly across more than 80 countries. There have been 29 confirmed cases in India so far.

Globally, there have been over 95,400 cases of COVID-19. At least 3,200 people have died so far majority of them in China. Infections have steadily risen in Iran, Italy, Japan and South Korea.

Amid worldwide scare over coronavirus, actor Salman Khan has requested fans to not shake hands or hug each other until the scare of the virus vanishes.

Salman shared a picture of him from the gym, doing the Namaste pose and he captioned it as, ”Namashkaar … hamari sabhyata mein namaste aur salaam hai! Jab #coronavirus Khatam ho jaye tab Haath milao aur gale lago….,”

Earlier, Deepika Padukone called off her visit at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week due to coronavirus scare the coronavirus outbreak.
