Salman Khan’s bail plea hearing begins in Jodhpur session court!

After spending the night in the Jodhpur jail, actor Salman Khan’s bail plea hearing begins in Jodhpur session court. The actor has sentenced to five-year jail term in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.


While, his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari have been acquitted. Additonally, a penalty of Rs 10,000 was also imposed on Salman Khan.

If the Sessions court rejects Salman Khan’s bail plea, the ‘Dabangg’ actor can then move a bail plea in the Rajasthan High Court.

Salman Khan  is accused of killing two blackbucks on October 2, 1998 in Kankani village in Jodhpur while shooting Hum Saath Saath Hain. Salman’s co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, and Tabu, who were also shooting for the film, are the co-accused in the case. A local named Dushyant Singh, who was also an accused, has been acquitted as well.

He was charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and others under Section 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.
