Sanjay Dutt’s sister Namrata Dutt didn’t connect with Paresh Rawal in ‘Sanju’

Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor, has done tremendous business at the Indian box office. The biopic on the life of Bollywood’s bad boy Sanjay Dutt has got a thumbs up from fans. Ranbir, who has delivered the biggest hit of his career with Sanju, has earned much praise for his performance.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the performance of other actors has also been appreciated. Everybody praised Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala’s acting who played the role of Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt.

But Sanjay Dutt’s sister Namrata didn’t connect with with Rawal.

While talking to Spotboye, Namrata said, “I can’t see anyone portraying my father. He was special. I didn’t connect, but I’m not the audience. I’m Sunil Dutt’s daughter.”

While talking about Manisha’s character, she said “Manisha was okay too. Being Sunil Dutt and Nargis’ daughter, it’s difficult to make judgments. If the audience connected with them, it’s great!”

Meanwhile, the biopic also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh. The film traces all phase of Sanjay Dutt’s life, from early Rocky days to drug phase to Yerwada jail to life post jail.

The film has already crossed the benchmark of Rs 250 crore and might soon enter the Rs 300 crore club.
