After Bhopal, now screening of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat has started in Indore on Feburary 11 amid tight security at the theaters.
A police control room said that the heavy security arrangements had been made outside all the theatres where the film has been released.
Earlier, a special screening was held for Karni Sena activists in Indore on Feburary 7. However, the Rajput outfit continued to object to the film’s screening claiming facts have been distorted, leading to cinema halls cancelling the proposed screening.

Recently, the film also released in Bhopal. The film is screened at 4 multiplexes in Bhopal. All shows have been kept after 5 pm.
Padmaavat was not released in four states including Madhya Pradesh following heavy protests by Karni Sena and other fringe groups.
The film hit the theatres on January 25 amid various protests and now crosses Rs 250 crore at the box office.
