A couple of days ago, the new title was officially confirmed by the makers as they changed the name of the film’s Twitter account.
The film was earlier scheduled to release on December 1, 2017, but continuous protests and CBFC fiasco forced the makers to shift the date.
Padmavati features Deepika in the lead playing the titular role of Rani Padmavati, Ranveer Singh and Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Maharwal Ratan Singh.
