The Supreme Court today dismissed a Congress leader’s petition seeking to stop the release of PM Narendra Modi biopic.
Supreme Court dismissed the plea by saying that it will be decided by the Election Commission whether the movie can violate the Model Code of Conduct or not. Also, it mentioned that the film hasn’t been certified by the CBFC yet.

Vivek took to social media to express his joy. He tweeted,”With all your blessings, support and love, today we have won in the Honorable Supreme Court! PM Narendra Modi will chronicle the journey of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his humble beginning to years as the Gujarat Chief Minister to the landmark win in the 2014 general elections, and finally becoming the Prime Minister.
Vivek Oberoi will be seen in and as ‘PM Narendra Modi’. Apart from Vivek, the film also features includes Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Rajendra Gupta and Akshat R Saluja in pivotal roles.
The film has been directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sandip Singh and Suresh Oberoi.
