Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who plays Rani Padmini of Chittor, launched the trailer of the much awaited film ‘Padmavati’ in 3-D.
The launch was held at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai and saw the likes of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone and more.
Though Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor weren’t present on the ocassion.

The actress looked chic donning a monotone Indian attire with high heels. Going minimal on the accessories, the diva sported a gorgeous pair of earrings with her outfit.
Deepika was speaking at the launch of Padmavati‘s trailer in 3D in Mumbai. Of the 3D trailer, Deepika told IANS: “We are very proud to present the 3D version of the trailer. It is a huge milestone for us as a team, for Indian cinema and cinema for the world.”
‘Padmavati’ is based on Rani Padmini, the legendary Rajput queen of the kingdom of Chittorgarh, to be played by Deepika. It also features Shahid as her husband, king Rawal Ratan Singh, and probably the most impressive of them all – the invader Alauddin Khilji, essayed with sheer ferocity by Ranveer.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is slated to release on December 1.
