Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most popular and most loved festival in India. It is a 10-day long festival which is a combination of love, joy, celebration, colours, music, and dance.
Lakhs of people turn up from far-off places, including foreigners, and stand for hours in queues running into several kilometres only to get a ‘darshan’ of the idol located in Lalbaug, Central Mumbai.
On Sunday, Sachin Tendulkar celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by offering prayers at Lalbaugcha Raja.
Sachin was accompanied by wife Anjali, daughter Sara and son Arjun, offered prayers and took blessing of Lord Ganesha.

Thousands of devotees were elated to see their favourite cricketer.
Tendulkar has been vocal about his devotion for Lord Ganesha. Whenever in the city, he is a regular worshipper of ‘Ganpatti Bappa’ and visits Lalbaugcha Raja during the festival.
Tendulkar is an ardent follower of Lord Ganesh and welcomes Ganpati every year at his place.
