Shah Rukh Khan is NOT doing a cameo in ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’

Earlier, there was a report that superstar Shah Rukh Khan doing a grand cameo in SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated war epic “Baahubali: The Conclusion”.

But now, Prabhas, the main lead of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise is amused by the rumours and clarified that King Khan is not a part of the film.

The actor, whose name is synonymous with ‘Baahubali’, feels that the film has become such a huge brand and is constantly under scrutiny, surrounded by speculations and conjectures.

Rana Dagubatti also clarifies the air and said “He is not part of the film. There is no cameo appearance. The world of Baahubali is different and it doesn’t have it (cameo appearances),” said Rana.

Gossip mills are abuzz that SRK has been roped in for a special appearance in Baahubali: The Conclusion where he would be essaying the character of a mediator between protagonist Prabhas and villain Rana.

Reportedly, the makers had even approached South actors like Suriya and Mohanlal for a cameo in the Telugu film.

“They are no cameo appearances of these south actors also in the film,” Rana maintained.

The official Twitter handle of Baahubali: The Conclusion revealed to disappointed fans that SRK won’t be doing a cameo in the film. “We would have loved to have @iamsrk in our movie ! Who wouldn’t ? But unfortunately it’s a rumour! Not true ! #Baahubali2,” the makers tweeted.

Earlier, it was being speculated that Baahubali 2’s first teaser would be released with Shah Rukh Khan’s January release, Raees. Well, even that didn’t come true. Maybe the rumours are due to the fact that the film is being presented by Karan Johar who is Shah Rukh Khan’s close buddy.

The epic film, being made at a cost of over Rs 200 crore and said to be bigger than Baahubali, has only revealed a few posters till now.

The movie also stars Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah Bhatia. ‘ Baahubali: The Conclusion‘ is all set to hit the screens on April 28.
