Even with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, turns out there weren’t enough female actors in Shah Rukh Khan’s next. The actor’s upcoming untitled project with director Aanand L Rai is reported to have as many as five cameos from some of the biggest names in Bollywood.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Kajol, Sridevi, Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji and Karisma Kapoor will all appear in the film. They all even clicked pictures together which were shared by Shah Rukh on Instagram.
“Sum nites the stars with u shine brighter than the ones in the sky. Thx ladies for ur graciousness beauty & love (sic),” SRK captioned the picture.
While Kajol and Rani will be seen together in one scene, Sridevi, Alia and Karisma will be seen in another. Incidentally, Kajol and Rani will come together after 19 years in a movie. They had last shot for Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998).

The spokesperson told Pune Mirror, “SRK recently shot with a few of his leading ladies for his upcoming movie with Aanand L Rai. It was a great experience for him to work with all the gorgeous women and share screen space with them all over again.”
The picture is taking the internet by storm and has already garnered close to 4,50,000 likes in five hours. Netizens cannot stop gushing over so much gorgeousness in a single frame.
“Kajol and Rani filmed earlier in the day, while Alia, Sridevi and Karisma shot later. Most of them are wearing Manish Malhotra’s outfits and had a blast.” Buzz is that the actor will also be shooting with Madhuri Dixit soon.
Source also informs, “After the shoot they went to SRK’s Mannat where he gave them all beautiful gift hampers with his wife Gauri’s special touch – all with their names engraved and some hugely expensive gifts. None of the actresses charged a single Rupee for their appearance in the film and this was Shah Rukh and Gauri’s way of returning their graceful gesture.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is currently shooting for Aanand L Rai’s next, in which he plays a dwarf. The film, which also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, is expected to hit the theatres next year.
