Shibani Dandekar speaks on dating Farhan Akhtar: Don’t need to make an announcement

Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar dating rumours are doing the rounds on social media from the past few months. After Farhan Akhtar, now Shibani Dandekar speaks on dating Farhan.

In an interview with Mid-day, Shibani told that there is no need for any announcement and it is up to her to decide what she wants to share about her personal life.

 “I don’t need to make an announcement about who I’m dating. It’s up to me to decide when and what I want to share about my personal life and it is up to the audience to decide how they look at it. How much information I want to put out in the public domain is my prerogative.” she said.

She added that as public figures they are subjected to scrutiny. “We are public figures, so people are entitled to say what they want to. But I don’t care about their opinion. I’m aware of who I am and I’m comfortable with who I choose to date,” added Dandekar.

According to reports, the duo met on the sets of TV show I Can Do That where Farhan was hosting the show whereas Shibani participated in it along with Rithvik Dhanjani, Gauahar Khan and VJ Bani. It is being said that the duo have been dating for the past six months.

Few days back, Farhan Akhtar has almost confirmed his relationship with Shibani Dandekar. A few days back, he posted a picture of him walking with Shibani with a heart emoji, spelling it out that it’s all love between the two.

The actor-director separated from wife Adhuna Bhabani after staying together for 16 long years. They have two daughters together—Shakya and Akira.
