The actress expressed her anguish on Twitter after a fan misbehaved with her. She took to Twitter on Sunday to say that being a public figure and being deprived of the luxury of a private and anonymous life, did not mean that any man could have the right to misbehave with her. She stressed on the fact that such behaviour should not be confused with ‘fan antics.’

Now talking about the details of the incident, she revealed to mirror that there were six fans who misbehved with her, while she was on her way to a fashion show. She revealed that her car stopped at a traffic signal and a group of six men in a car that had stopped next to her’s started misbehaving after realising it was her in the car. She said, “They started banging against the window, pressing themselves against the car, one of them even lying down on the top of the bonnet and laughing. I’ve been eve teased when I was younger, but I didn’t expect guys to misbehave to this level at this age.”

“They followed my car even after the signal turned green. It was like a power trip for them.” she added.

The actress didn’t step out of her car as she was without any bodyguard and had only the chauffeur with her for company. “They could have beaten him up and I wouldn’t have been able to stop them. So the only thing my chauffeur could do was honk while I ignored their antics.”

When asked if she’s planning to file a police complaint against them, “I don’t even know who they are. May be I’ll handle the situation differently if, God forbid, it happens again, but this time, I played safe.” “But this time I was alone, without an entourage, and that must have emboldened them,” she concluded.

Well, this is not the first time any actress has voiced out this problem. Earlier, stars like Vidya Balan and Swara Bhaskar too talked about similar bad incidents that they experienced.

Meanwhile, Ileana was last seen in Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan, co-starring Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty. She will next feature in Milan Luthria’s Baadshaho along with Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra. The film, which is a set in the emergency era of the 1970s, will release on September 1.
