Simmba Review

Story of the movie:

The story starts with Singham (Ajay Devgn) narrating the story of a corrupt cop Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba (Ranveer Singh), who grown up in the same village as Singham. Simmba enjoys and takes full advantage of the lifestyle of a corrupt cop. But, his conscience wakes up, after a girl he treats as his younger sister gets raped. The rest of the story is all about how he changes his side for good but face all kind of obstacles through this. The film features Sonu Sood in a negative role, Ashutosh Rana as a senior cop and Sara Ali Khan as Ranveer’s romantic interest.

Star Performance:

Ranveer Singh delivers a brilliant performance in the film. While, Sara Ali Khan stars in a few scenes and she does manage to bring in a few laughs. Sonu Sood looks convincing as villian. Ashutosh Rana has done justice to his role.

Music Direction:

The film’s music is good. Songs like Aankh Marey, Tere Bin, Ala Re Ala are already hit among the audience.

The film’s direction is good. The screenplay and the dialogues are impressive. There are enough paisa vasool moments including the cameo by the original Singham, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. There are also some high octane action scenes that are high on anger as well as impact.

Watch Or Not:

Simmba is a total “paisa vasool” entertainer. Just go and watch.
