Sofia Hayat gets Swastika symbol tattooed on her feet, faces major backlash

Sofia Hayat, who turned into a nun a while back, is again in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. She has got her feet inked with Swastika, a holy symbol of Hinduism and Buddhism.

She posted the picture on Instagram. Check it out:

Ok..so my last photo was me having tatoos on my feet…the sacred swastika..found on the feet of BUDDHA.. the sacred .. eternal..self existence..the star of David..the Islamic moon..universal manifestation..the Sun..hindu swastika..ancient christian cross..buddhist..tibetan..it encompasses the all..the power of the universe at my feet so to at yours..wake up..we are one! A symbol is just a symbol and it is the intent that makes the difference. Soon after she posted the picture, a large number of people took serious offence. While some asked her to remove the picture, others insulted her for hurting the religious sentiments, some also argued that she should be slapped with a legal notice for doing this.

Not only this, Sofia also got Muslim religious symbol tattooed at below the knee.
