Sonali Bendre celebrates Book Lovers Day in New York, see pic

Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre has been diagnosed with high grade cancer. The actress herself revealed about this tragic news on her Instagram account. She is currently in New York undergoing treatment there.

The actress has been fighting the dreadful disease like a true hero. Recently, on the occasion of Friendship Day,  Sonali can be seen rocking the bald look as she hangs out with her friends Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi. And, the picture is clicked by none another than Hrithik Roshan.

This is me. And in this moment, I am really happy. People give me strange looks when I say that now, but it’s true and I’ll tell you why. I am now paying attention to every moment, looking for every opportunity to find joy and #SwitchOnTheSunshine. Yes, there are moments of pain and low energy, but I am doing what I like, spending time with people I love, and feeling very loved and happy. I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment’s notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime… basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone. In the pic, Sonali is seen sporting a crisp white shirt and a hat and she holds a book in her hands.

On a related note, Sonali’s husband Goldie Bahl has recently opened about the actress health. He took to Twitter to share an update about his wife’s health. He said that Sonali has begun her treatment on a positive note and thanked everyone for immense support.

Thank you all for the love and support for Sonali… she is stable and is following her treatment without any complications. This is a long journey but we have begun positively.?
