Popular television actor Sooraj Thapar who is known for his shows like ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, ‘Ek Nai Pehchaan’ and ‘Hum Saath Aath Hain’ is all set to become proud father for the second time.
Yes, the actor and his wife Dipti Dhyani are expecting their second child. The couple has a five-year-old son, Vishvm. Dipti is due in April.
While talking to an entertainment portal, Sooraj said, “I was clear from the beginning that I want two kids. You inculcate the habit of sharing and caring naturally when you have a sibling. You also learn to value relationships better.”

The couple wants to have a daughter this time around. He says, “Though we will be happy either ways, having a daughter will complete my family. Ladkiyon ka apna ek charm hota hai and unse life mein thehraav aata hai.”
He added, “Of course, as a father, who is in an uncertain profession like acting, I was also worried about whether I would be able to bring up my second child like my first-born. But, I also know that every child has his/her own destiny and I shall do my best as a father.”
The 51-year-old actor tied the knot with actress Dipti Dhyani in 2012.
