1. Dhanush and Aishwarya

2. Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy

Stylish Star Allu Arjun married Sneha Reddy, daughter of prominent Telangana educationist Kanchara Chandrasekhar Reddy on March 6, 2011. The big fat Tollywood wedding took place in Hyderabad.  Well known politicians and actors of  Bollywood and Southern film industry have attended the ceremony and blessed the couple. Their wedding was one of the most expensive weddings in India. According to the report, their wedding had the total expense of Rs. 100 crores.

3. Ram Charan Teja and Upasana Kamineni

Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan married the granddaughter of the chairman of Apollo Hospital, Upasana Kamineni on 14 June 2012. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, actress Sridevi and her filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor as well as big names from the southern film industry Rajinikanth and Ambareesh, and many top film personalities from Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema world attended the ceremony held at Moinabad in Ranga Reddy district.

4. Jr. N.T.R. and Lakshmi

Jr. N.T.R. and Lakshmi tied the knot on 5th May, 2011. Their wedding was a regal celebration. It was almost as if the entire Andhra region had become one in joining in with their celebrations. Thousands of fans thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of the A1 Star and his gorgeous bride. The whole wedding fest cost around Rs. 100 crore including Rs. 18 crore spent on Kalyana Mandap and wedding invites which cost Rs. 3000 per invite.

5. Surya and Jyothika

The South Indian heartthrob, Surya married actress Jyothika in a beautiful yet expensive ceremony on September 11, 2006. Various megastars like Kamal Hassan, Dhanush and Aishwarya and others attended the wedding of these two actors. But, the bride Jyothika stole all the limelight, when she entered in her pink sari worth Rs. 3 lakhs. The actress was also seen sporting diamond necklace.

6Sneha & Prasanna

The Kollywood actors tied the knot in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony on 11 May 2012. It was a grand affair and the money spent on the wedding made it one of the most expensive South Indian weddings. Sneha looked gorgeous in her wedding attire with 22K gold jewelry worth Rs. 2 lakh. Her Addgai Patkam was of Rs. 6 lakh.

7. Brahmani Reddy and Rajeev Reddy

Brahmani married Rajeev Reddy, son of a Hyderabad-based businessman — Vikram Deva Reddy, last year in November at the most expensive south Indian wedding. G. J. Reddy spent Rs. 500 crore to make it a wedding to be remembered. It was certainly one of the most talked about wedding of the year.
