Here is some heartbreaking news for all fans of ‘Chandra Nandini’ out there. The much loved show is all set to get over very soon and will end in November.

Chandra Nandini has been on air since almost a year and has won the hearts of the viewers with the enchanting love story between to enemies. But the  historical drama is to be wrapped up this November and a new show, Namish Taneja’s ‘Ikyawann’, is about to take its place.

Moreover, the ratings of the show have also become less and therefore the channel has decided to pull the show off air and replace it with a news show. News is that Chandra Nandini will have an unexpected ending where Chandra and Nandini will not be able to unite and Chandra will turn into a Buddhist Monk. The show will have a sad ending and this may be upsetting for fans who have always wanted the two lovers to unite through all their trials and tribulations.

Namish Tanuja and Prachi Tehlan

This end will lead to a new beginning. Producer Suzana Ghai’s family drama ‘Ikyavann’ is all set to take the Chandra Nandini’s slot. ‘Ikyavann’, set in Ahmedabad, tells the tale of a tall girl who is the 51st (Ikyavann) child in the family. According to Hindu norms, she is considered lucky!

Namish Tanuja and Prachi Tehlan

The new show ‘Ikyavann’ will have ‘Swaragini’ fame Namish Tanuja in the lead role alongside actress Prachi Tehlan.

Prachi Tehlan, Famous basketball-netball player from Delhi, essays the lead role in the show. She was last seen as Arzao in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ and also has a Punjabi film, Arjan, to her credit.
