The much anticipated film Subedar Joginder Singh biopic has become a talk of the town since its very inception. After treating us with various posters and trailer, now the makers has released the first song from the film.

Titled ‘Gal Dil Di’, the song lets you into the life of the many soldiers who are protecting the country away from their family and friends.The song takes us back to the time when letters were the only mode of communication.

The song has been crooned by Gippy Grewal, Kulwinder Billa, Rajvir Jawanda, Sharan Maan etc. It has been penned by, none other than Kulwinder Billa.

Subedar Joginder Singh is a war biopic on the life and valor of 1962 Indo-China War martyr and India’s highest wartime gallantry award – Param Vir Chakra winner.

Joginder Singh served the country when we were struggling to gain our independence. Singh was recruited into the First Battalion of the Sikh Regiment in 1936.  He served the British Indian Army and after independence, he served the Indian Army. It was during the Indo-China battle of 1962 that Subedar Joginder Singh sacrificed his life for the nation. He died in Chinese captivity.

The film also features Guggu Gill, Kulwinder Billa, Aditi Sharma, Rajvir Jawanda, Roshan Prince, Karamjit Anmol and Sardar Sohi in prominent characters.

‘Subedar Joginder Singh’ is produced by Seven Colors Motion Pictures in association with Saga Music and Unisys Infosolutions. It is directed by Simerjit Singh and will release on April 6, 2018.
