Story of the movie: The film revolves around Gippy who is playing an army officer who is textbookish patriotic and does not hold back from giving his own life for the country if the need arises. He leads an army to the front during the war and does immensely big speeches right in the middle of that. Film basically has nothing new to offer but that same old feeling being generated by JP Dutta since ‘Border’ in 1998. It is the most simplest storyline ever as the soldier bids his family goodbye to go to war front while they want to stop him but for him the country stands first beyond anything.
Star Performance: Gippy Grewal puts life into his character. He manages to do complete justice to his role. While, Aditi Sharma makes her presence felt. While, Kulwinder Billa who makes his Pollywood debut seems confident. Simerjit Singh yet again manages to deliver superior cinema.
Music Direction: The film’s music is good.
Direction: The film’s direction is good. The constant taunting and joking between the soldiers entertain and bring in a few laughs. The love story of Gippy-Aditi is cute and charms the viewers. There are a number of moments which will feel you proud.
Watch Or Not: The film must be watched by every citizen of India.
