Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has recently accused of not returning Rs 5 lakh signing amount by Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi produces Bharat Patel.
The film which released in 2015 was supposed to feature a dance number by Sunny Leone. But due to certain circumstances, the idea was dropped later.
Bharat in a statement said, “According to the deal, Sunny was supposed to be paid a total of Rs 40 lakh for the song – Rs 5 lakh as signing amount, Rs 5 lakh after the look test, Rs 10 lakh during the rehearsals and the remaining Rs 10 lakh during the promotions. Sunny was paid Rs 5 lakh as the signing amount but after that when she was called to discuss the dates with the other actors and the other details that needed to be finalised before the shoot, she did not respond to the production team’s calls and messages”.

Patel says that he has also sent a legal notice to Sunny in 2017 to get the signing amount back, but did not get a response for the same.
However, sources close to Sunny Leone tell a different story. According to them, there was a lot of back and forth on the shoot dates and the makers of the movie kept changing the dates. Because of this, Sunny Leone allotted her dates to other projects. They said Sunny Leone is professional and could not deal with so much back and forth, say media reports.
