Smt. Swaraj was one of the strongest women leaders India has ever seen. She was the Union Minister of Foreign Affairs during the Modi government from 2014 – 2019.
The former Minister of External Affairs had a kidney transplant back in the year 2016. She also had to opt out from contesting in the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year owing to health reasons.
She is survived by her husband Swaraj Kaushal and daughter Bansuri.
May her soul rest in peace!
