Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta, who has accused actor Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on a film set in 2008, has filed a police complaint against the actor.
The actress filed the police complaint against Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Sameer Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang on Saturday at Oshiwara police station, located at Mumbai’s Andheri West area.
“Tanushree Dutta has given us a complaint against Nana Patekar. As of now, there is not any FIR registered in this case,” Additional Commissioner of Police (West) Manoj Kumar Sharma said.
In a letter, Dutta said that she lodged her complaint for the registration of FIR under Sections 354, 354 (A), Section 34 and Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

“Nana Patekar’s behaviour was inappropriate towards me, he was on the set despite (the fact) his work in the song was over. He grabbed me by the arm and pushed me towards him around on the pretext of teaching me how to dance,” read one part of the complaint.
Recently, Nana Patekar who who was shooting for his upcoming film “Housefull 4” in Jodhpur, landed here Saturday.
“I said this ten years ago… a lie is a lie (Dus saal pehle bol chuka hoon, ab jo jhoot hai woh jhoot hai’),” Patekar told reporters here Saturday.
Meanwhile, Nana Patekar’s lawyer has sent a legal notice to Tanushree demanding apology.
