Not only this she also alleged that her show’s lead actress Navneet Nishan also suffered harassment at hands of Alok and she had even slapped him once.

She wrote in her Facebook post, My lead female actor was being harassed by him. He would mess with her on the sets and everyone would be silent. When she complained to us, we decided to let him go. We needed one last shot between them and soon after it had been taken we had planned to let him know that we didn’t want to work with him any longer. He had become aware of our plan and on that day, he came drunk on our sets. He continued to drink till the time he was called for the shot. When the moment came and the camera rolled, he felt up our female lead and very viciously. My lead actress slapped him”.

Well now, Navneet Nishan comes out in open and supports Vinta Nanda. Navneet said she was harassed for four years at the end of which she ‘slapped the man in question’ and that she was ‘further shamed by the man through the media.

While talking to Pinkvilla, Navneet said  “I support every woman and man who is standing up for herself/himself in the #MeToo movement. I empathise with Vinta for the terrible pain she has gone through; it is unimaginable. I dealt with the four-year harassment by slapping the man in question and it is done and dusted. l suffered the loss of the show and was further shamed by the man through media and I endured that. I fought my battles there and then. I am immensely glad that the power trip and sexual dominance coming from this power is being called out. It is high time.”

Meanwhile, Tanushree Dutta’s allegations against Nana Patekar has started the #MeToo campaign in Bollywood. Many actresses, journalists and other women are speaking about their sexual harassment episodes on the social media.
