TV actress Jigyasa Singh, who plays the lead in “Thapki Pyaar Ki” is quitting the show after entertaining the viewers for 2 years.
Jigyasa has been associated with the show from the beginning and was loved by all. Jigyasa Singh, who played Thapki in the show, wrote a heartfelt message for her fans thanking them for all the love and support.
She captioned it saying “So today was the last day..it has been wrapped..!! I will never forget this beautiful experience..was so lucky to work with such an amazing people who have affected my life greatly. I am so happy to know they will be my family from here on out. To the fans…… what can I say other than..I love you all so much. Thank you for being on this journey with me and giving me so much support. I wouldn’t be here without all of you. I’m sad to say BYE as thapki to all…but I’m excited to see what the future holds..

Producer Ved Raj confirms, “Hunar is entering the show as the new heroine. Jigyasa will be out of action for at least a month. Hers is a bad case of contagious swine flu and she has been advised bed rest — that too, in isolation. Since it would have been impossible to run the show without the protagonist, we had to rope in a new one.”
