Story of the movie:
Thappad is a story of the film revolves around Amrita (Taapsee Pannu) a submissive housewife and a learned classical dancer becomes the best housewife. Her life revolves around her husband Vikram (Pavail Gulati) who wants to achieve all his life’s goals. Everything seems normal until Vikram slaps her at a party in front of guests. For Amrita, the intensity of that one slap goes deeper than one can imagine. She decides to call it quits facing various point-of-views from different people around her. What happens next, for this you have to watch the film.
Star Performance:
Taapsee Pannu has delivered a brilliant performance in the film. Pavail Gulati, as the husband does a fine job. While other like Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Dia Mirza, Ram Kapoor and others have done justice to their roles.
Music Direction:
The film’s music is good.
Direction:
The film’s direction is good. The screenplay is commendable. Dialogues are catchy. The editing by Yasha Ramchandani, is smooth and gives a justified flow in the film.
