Anupam Kher starrer The Accidental Prime Minister has been released in cinemas. In the film, Anupam Kher is seen playing the role of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the film.
Recently, Anupam Kher shared a video on social media in which his mother, Dulari Kher, praises on her son as well as the former Prime Minister.
In the video, Anupam asked his mother if she liked the portrayal of Manmohan Singh. To which, she says “Manmohan Singh shareef tha bechara. Lagta tha door se shareef hai, tabhi log shareef ko bewakoof mante hain. Ye nahi pata wo bohot tez hote hain.”

Further, while praising Anupam’s acting skills, his mother said she could not believe it’s her son and exclaimed, “What do you eat, I don’t understand!” She further stated, “I really liked the film and I am sure everyone will like it too.”
Anupam captioned the video as, “Mother of all Reviews: Dulari Watched #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister and has given her review in a one minute video. Her first sentence was frightening. “Aise koi acting karta hai?” And she almost acted me out.”

Directed by newcomer Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, The Accidental Prime Minister is an onscreen adaptation of Sanjay Baru’s book of the same name, who served as the media adviser to the former Prime Minister. Anupam Kher will be seen playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the film.

The film will also features Arjun Mathur and Aahana Kumra as Congress president Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi, respectively. Suzanne Bernert portrays the role of former Congress president Sonia Gandhi. The political drama will also have Akshaye Khanna.
The film has been directed by debutant Vijay Gutte and written by Hansal Mehta.
