Television actress Hina Khan, who has become popular with Akshara’s character in the TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kyaa Hai’, is now seen in the stunt based reality shows ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’.
The actress recently revealed in an interview that she got a lot of marriage proposals but not from men, their mothers.
“I’ve got far too many marriage proposals, but not from me. They’ve all been from their mothers, who want a bahu like Akshara. I will marry when I’m ready. I still have a few years before that,” she says.
Hina also opened up on why she chose reality show over any other ficitonal show. She said, “Doing Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had become monotonous for me. That’s why I decided to quit the show. I wanted a drastic shift in my career and KKK proved dramatically different.”
In fact, the actress is also one of the finalists in the show and rumours are abuzz that she has already won the show. She had reacted to the rumours and told India Forums, “I don’t know why there has been such rumours, but if it happens I’ll be the happiest. Honestly, I don’t know who is winning the show and who is not, but I have tried to do my level best in every hurdle on the show and if I win, I’d be very happy. But, it isn’t only me, there are other contestants too who have done exceedingly well. The tasks are designed in such a way that all I can say is that whoever has done it in the least amount of time and done it better shall win.”
