Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan who is currently shooting for his upcoming film Street Dancer has recently came forward to help out an injured hip-hop dancer.

Yes, the actor donated Rs 5 lakhs for the treatment of a young dancer named Ishaan who injured his neck very badly while dancing.

Ishaan, a dancer from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, injured his neck while practicing a double front flip. He had to be rushed to the hospital immediately.

According to a post by an Instagram handle To The Culture, Varun approached the man and donated Rs 5 lakh for his treatment. The post reads, “REAL HERO @varundvn Thank you for taking care of everything. This kid broke his neck few days back while he was practicing double front flip…He got injured and was in serious need of financial support.. everyone from community started showing support and then then the real hero saw the story on @kartik_veterans feed and the rest you can see in DM screenshot. would like to thank Varun Dhavan for everything he did…we need more hero’s like you.. thank you everyone who supported #respect #dilse. On the work front, Varun’s next film, Street Dancer is being directed by Remo D’souza. It will also star Prabhu Dheva and will hit theatres around Diwali on November 8 this year.
