Veteran actor Dharamendra has been admitted to a hospital as he was complained of acute stomanch pain and cramps.
The actor was admitted to Nanavati Hospital last afternoon and was put on antibiotic treatment after he suffered gastroenteritis, an intestinal infection marked by diarrhoea, cramps, nausea, vomiting and fever, doctors said.

Dr Vishesh Agrawal from the hospital who’s treating him asked fans not to worry. “Dharmendraji was brought to the hospital on Monday as he was experiencing uneasiness and is being treated for Gastric upset. We are observing him, and he is responding to treatment well and should be discharged in a couple of days,” he said in a statement to the media.
Thanking the fans for their concern, Dharmendra’s son Sunny Deol tweeted, “Thnx a lot for your concern about my father’s health.He was down with food poisoning and is recovering fast.Please don’t speculate about it.”

Meanwhile, Dharmendra’s wife Hema Malini confirmed Dharmendra, 81, is likely to be discharged soon. She tweeted “Just to reassure everyone concerned about Dharamji in hospital – he is recovering well and is likely to be discharged soon. Thank you all (sic),” she wrote on Twitter.
