Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s latest Pakistani commercial for a washing machine brand has landed him into a controversy after a few people on the internet slammed the actor for encouraging sexism.
In the ad, the actor is seeing chilling with his friends, he bragged about getting rid of his wife and bashing her up. As his friends in the ad ask him is everything fine with ‘bhabhiji’, he replies by saying, “Kar di Dhulaai.” Later, one of Nawaz’s friend pranks him into believing that his wife is behind which shocks him and later shows that he fears his wife.

This created a huge furore in Pakistan as the people on social media called it misogynistic. This ad is being criticized on social media. People say that this ad is promoting domestic violence.
