For the same, the group has demanded Sathyaraj to apologise to Kannadigas before the release of the film.

Now SS Rajamouli, the director of the magnum Opus has come out to appeal to all the Kannadigas.

Hello everyone, I do not know Kannada very well. I f I say something wrong please forgive me. My producers and me would like to give out a clarification regarding Sathyaraj’s controversy. Some years back he had made some comments which had hurts some of your sentiments. However, we have no relation with these comments. It was Sathyaraj’s personal opinion.”

“We had no idea about this issue until we saw this on social media a month back. It has been nine years since he made this comments and ever since he has acted and directed several movies which have released in Karnataka. Baahubali part 1 also had released. The way you’ve showed your love and support for it, we would request you to lend the same support to Baahubali 2.” he added.

He further added “Satyaraj is neither the producer nor the director of this film, he’s one amongst the many artists who feature in this film. Even if you stall the release of this film he will not be affected. Because of his individual comments to hold a grudge against the rest and the film wouldn’t be fair is what we believe. We’ve also explained the situation to Mr Satyaraj as well. But beyond that we have no control, we have no connection with this episode. And I request you all to kindly not associate us with this controversy. We will always want you to love us and heartfelt thanks. It seems like the netertianment industry has become a soft target for political parties, who isntead of tackling the real issue want to promote themselves in the process.”

Well, that was quite a heartwarming step taken by the maker of the magnum opus. We hope that the fans in Karnataka let bygones be bygones and allow the film to release on the said date.

The film is slated to release on April 28.
